Career Background & Pedagogical Passion
Hello! I am Profe Luisa (Luisa Romeu Vázquez). Born December 5, 1964, over more than 40 years of academic teaching and over 34 years as a software project manager, systems analyst, and educator, I have had the privilege of guiding generations of undergraduate, graduate students and scholars to overcome their greatest challenge: writing their thesis, mastering data analysis, and successfully publishing scientific papers.
Graduating in 1989 from the University of Havana with a B.S. in Mathematical Cybernetics, I led international technical teams for more than three decades designing and deploying complex software and database solutions. Since 2023, I have dedicated this analytical, computational, and teaching expertise to open digital education.
I intimately understand the solitude of the researcher: writer's block, APA styling doubts, defense anxiety, and the frustration of editorial journal rejections. That is why I created the @AsesoriaProfeLuisa YouTube channel: to distill four decades of teaching into clear, compassionate, and actionable tutorials.
